Who is the NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision program for?
This NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision (Building & Civil Engineering) is aimed at Managers/ Supervisors with responsibility for overseeing multiple teams. Our unique approach can help you complete this in as little as six weeks. If you have sufficient experience, but do not have the required NVQ qualification to register for your CSCS card then this is for you
The CSCS card is fast becoming a national safety & skills standard for individuals and companies in the construction industry. The government aims to register every competent construction worker through the CSCS scheme. Many companies are now being asked to certificate their workforce in order to qualify for government and local authority contracts.
What does the course entail?
Unlike most qualifications this one takes place mainly at work and can be completed in as little as six weeks.
The process begins with a profiling session to confirm that you are registering onto the right qualification
Proof of experience, much of it in the form of work related documents and photographs, is collected in a portfolio – this can be done via Dropbox, email or a hard copy file
A Visiting Assessor will review your portfolio of evidence with you, and carry out observations of you at work Your knowledge of your work role is captured through either written questions and answers, reflective accounts or a professional discussion with your Assessor, which is often the preferred route as is can be done in about half a day
There are 14 mandatory units included in the NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision qualification
